Official German message about Lidice, printed in the protectorate's and German's imperial press on 11th of June 1942. 

   This message contains four Nazi lies instantly. Propaganda of the third empire was using such lies knowingly and for its own use. 

   On this notoriously infamous compound sentence can be clearly seen how forcible the Nazi propaganda was. Up till today the message is being quoted and despite the fact it contains obvious lies, nobody points this out. 
 

   "citizens of this village were guilty in the crudest way against the issued law by  being active with and giving assistance to the killers of SS-Obergruppenführer Heydrich" 

   In its investigation, Gestapo never found any connection between Lidice's citizens and the assassins, therefore did not even proof direct assistance. 
 

   "adult man were shot" 

   Adulthood at that time was reached by 18th birthday, whereas in Lidice boys which were not eighteen yet were murdered. Little Josef Hronik born on 16th of August 1927 was not even 15 years old. 

   "women transported to a concentration camp" 

   There was very little true on this statement. Although women were transported to the concentration camp eventually, nothing is mentioned about the purpose of this transportation, that over 50 Lidice's women died in the concentration camp. When they were unable to work, the empire could no longer feed them so they were sent to be gassed. In Ravensbrück there was a gas chamber as well, though it was demolished at the end of the war before the visit of the Red Cross. 
 

   "children were sent for an appropriate education"

   This lie comes out only after the war with a message from Lodž. Appropriate education according to the Nordic rase were two vans arranged in such way that during the journey the fumes from the exhaust pipe went into its enclosed space where the Lidice's children were being transported.
